Identified nuanced cultural barriers/dynamics and core needs; designed and facilitated key trainings that corrected technical instruction confusion and improved skills for medical doctors who are authorized to conduct immigrant medical evaluations representing Australia, South Africa, Korea, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and USA.
La Universidad de La Republica in Uruguay, 2015
Large scale change initiative for sole, “federally” funded hospital and medical education policies. Self-taught intermediate Spanish,
interviewed and assembled a team via Skype. Results: 1) fundamental expansion of Uruguay approach to
professionalism policy and practice and 2) an international partnership with GWU.
